I don't understand the concept of live beat battles
the only about making a beat live is sometimes time management. The venues have to keep the crowd entertain while the producers are making their beats on the spot. If some people aren't a serious hiphop head and like to wait some people will leave or come in and out the building- K-waz

What else can a producer/beatmaker do when his beat is being played by the DJ or himself? I've been in many live beat battles. Its like a hiphop rap battle without words. Man, its even better if you have to make a beat on the spot. It's a whole different experiences being at a live event than...- K-waz

I know what you mean. I hate making Trap myself but I had to learn to create my own version of it because it was a very high demand for trap beats in my area. I made a lot of money on trap beats -

It was a good try! It doesn't sound like trap and its no where near Drill. True 808 is a must but you don't need 808 and a sub together. One 808 (a great one) can carry a whole trap beat and that same 808 with a Slide is good for Drill. On your melodies you can use halftime, Gross Beats or just...
