Hi everyone. I'm a Portuguese beatmaker, been doing it for ~20 years (in between MC'ing) already. I'm a fan of the 90s era, mostly boom-bap and jazzy samples but also dabble with other stuff. I mainly use hardware samplers (SP404, MPC2000XL, MPC500, and recently a Yamaha Seqtrack).

To be honest, I was advised to come here from a guy on Reddit. He saw the free web app that I made for making beats on the go, using a "hardware workflow" and said that people might enjoy it here, so here I am :)

Peace!

Mostly music and chatter — I'm not in my happy place when doing beat battles. I do like to talk shop, production tips, hardware workflows and such :)
That's still good, but a shame for no battles - still, we have a showcase section you can post your music in and give feedback to others too! If that floats your boat.

Definitely. I will do that for sure!

Where would be the best place to share the web application that I built for beat making? I get no profit out of it. It's free forever and requires no sign up. I've been using it and I like it, so I decided to share it with the world.
