Really cool beat! I like this dreamy pluck/keys that you used and also those sharp scratchy like sounds that appear from time to time. To me those vocals are a bit too loud but other than that the beat is really cool!
Not quite. It has elements of trap as from what I know it has a lot of Memphis influences. Phonk is more dancey and it's closer to some club music/edm or something like that. But yeah, trap influences can be surely heard there.
Also I've heard trap beats that were using those distorted phonk plucks/synths so yeah those two genres can be mixed very easily. For example in the song below a phonk beat was made and used. And you can say that it's a trap beat but not quite. The sound of this pluck makes it more phonky.
