Remember:

Love those phased out guitars! The horn lead is Sade fucking smooth. I really like the understated bass on this. Any louder and it would take away from the silky smooth vibe. You did a good job of weaving in several different elements without it sounding too cluttered. The arrangement is also really nice; it flows seamlessly from one section to the other...the exact problem I'm having today. The combination of old school techniques (delay horns) and the neo-soul works well.

Stream of Confusion:

This is giving Michel Menert/Pretty Lights vibes. The bell/chime thing adds a LOT of atmosphere. I almost didn't catch it on first listen. Glad to see my love for guitars is rubbing off on some people lol. The panning wha-wha is a great piece of ear-candy. Again, the arrangement is really good. I felt the bass could've been a bit more up-front on this one, but if it was a decision, it still works.

You Bluddy:

HAHAHA...you weren't playing when you said you were going to sample that. The chopped/screwed Jay vocal is dope! I'm not a Trap fan, but these aren't the fuck off ignorant trap drums. There's a part there where I'm not sure if the organ is entirely in key - but I could be wrong. This is cool, reminds me of some T.I. vs T.I.P.

@PhxAzTracmaster really like the first two a lot and I love the outro on the third one.
Would love to flip them if you are okay with that? All 3 have parts in that I would love to flip and remix. Could call it a collaboration.
Are these new beats or from the stash?
Thanks for checkin them out! They are from the stash around a year old. I'm currently working on a few new ones now. And you can use anything you want from anything I've posted or post in the future...

Body Cam:

I like the dark atmosphere on this. Lots of attention to detail on this with the little fills, hits, and layering of the melody/counter melody. I would have liked that moogy/mono bass to have a bit more low end, but still cool.

George Jetson:

Even more atmosphere! I feel like this could be in a Tim Burton movie. In fact, having heard a fair amount of your music now - you have a great sense of melody. I like that you layer and weave a main theme with counters, accents, and second (sometimes tertiary) motion.

Hoodie:

Intro was really intriguing, did a good job of hooking me into the beat. Some really cool use of space and dimension on this. The snares being wider and the claps a bit more centred was really cool. Again, attention to detail is great. This one felt a bit disjointed compared to the others, not necessarily my vibe, but cool. The instrument selection was great. The bell and Piano work well together.

Quantum:

Meant to comment on this one yesterday, but I got day drunk and fell asleep on the couch lol. If Jordan Peele made an urban horror movie where an LA Gang and reformed drug addict had to fend off zombies, this would be the soundtrack of the opening act. This is a horrifying, in best way, piece of music.

I was curious to see what you were going to do with this flip. It's great how you preserved that dark and moody atmosphere while making it your own. Anything boom-bap (drums, horns, delays) will always catch my here. This is sick! I need to make note of your, and some other talented Illienz, arrangement techniques. The flow from start to end is great!

@NaiN

I really don't care or Migos, or any of that type, as rappers. Either way this is a cool re-mix. It all fits nicely. It's a cool beat with a cinematic feel to it.

The Captain Luna beat is super sick! Drums are great and I like the little fills, drop outs, and especially like the shaker that sits on type. The horns, vocals and all elements sound great.
