Can't Look Down:
Sound selection is great. All the elements work well with each other and work to elevate each section. What I think you did really well here is the arrangement. Transitions from each section to the other makes sense, and flows nicely. The choices around where to bring in or take out elements made sense in context as a song as a whole. The Chorus is very catchy. Would've liked to hear that slightly distorted guitar earlier in the song, but again, arrangement is great! This is a pop tune to me, which is cool. I did like the drum pattern, but I feel like the distorted guitars and switching to a half time feel in the drums would add a bit more epicness to the chorus (Just a thought).
Look At Me Now:
The guitar lead is very nice. Do you play guitar or are these guitar parts samples? Sound selection on this is more interesting. Where "Can't Look Down" has the staple pop-ballad sounds, the combination of synths and traditional instruments on this track make it stand out. Similar comments on the previous track...transitions, arrangement, and flow are seamless. Another very catchy hook. I get some 2010's radio banger vibe (Super Producer + Rapper + RnB Singer) type tune that takes over the summer.
Two solid tunes. Looking forward to hearing more!
